so i didn't win best web writer at these awards. not really surprising since i didn't even vote for myself.

awards are a great concept and i will make my own some time soon. you will all win something. if you comment or whatever.

one category will probably be nester of the year. i have a finalist in mind. she reads the nest catalogue at nights and imagines how her life would be if she picked the baby blue over the oily blue. homewares are addictive that way.

when i was a super poor student i used to spend a ridiculous amount of time in freedom furniture imagining how, when i got a j.o.b, i would outfit my house freedom furniture styles with my hip hop coffee table and my overstuffed couches and sheets made of t.shirt material. thank god we don't have ikea here. if we did i would have become acute and chronic in my addiction. and as a post script it turns out that having a j.o.b doesn't mean you can afford furniture. not new stuff anyway.

another category - best crime fighting duo - will probably go to this pair.

or the guy who called himself batman avec whoever he can convince to be his robin. Posted by Picasa

Oh, and IKEA is coming to NZ in 2008. I am so pleased. We will have to roadtrip to buy a Poochie lamp and a Snoogles Mohair Throw. God, I love that place....

The one that Shoc Chocolate won....

Yeah, don't start me on using Scandinavian design in preparation for children. It breaks my heart (that it's not here yet).

Can I put in a request for a bloggle? I want cocktails for the festive season and am willing to start proceedings with the following....
