nothing says christmas to me like the people's princess. so tonight i began the task of creating a christmas grotto. it involved images of diana and glue and ribbon and cardboard. the big reveal is still a while away.

this delay is compounded because all of last year's decorations - except the angel - have disappeared. in to thin air by the looks of things (and yes. i checked the draw that i found my supposedly missing passport and they weren't there either). which is so annoying because last year i found the perfect religious nativity and this year i was going to add to it by finding some hay. now i am thinking of a completely different nativity that involves a teeny tiny pig, a hula girl and a wooden horse - ie things from ryles toy box. i think it could work.

there will also be candy canes involved, but i wont say any more, for fear of ruining the big reveal. maybe i could invite tv's ty pennington to the opening. he'd be touched by the way i'd used diana, who was - let's face it - stole.

in other news i'm up to the spring fling episode of 90210 - ie the epi in which dylan and brenda do it. i've been saving it because of all the episodes this was always my favourite. i taped it watched it again and again. brenda is one lucky son of a gun. anyway, laters. i have some teenage drama to watch.
