you know what it is like at a party and there are heaps of people there but you spend the whole time deep in conversation with one guy. and the conversation is intense and invigorating even if it is about nothing. and other people in the room don't interrupt because they would feel uncomfortable because you and this other person are clicking so much that it reminds others that they don't click. and you and this person are like some special club for cool people who are hot for each other. and everyone probably thinks you are sleeping together.

i'd totally forgotten what that was like until tonight.

unfortunately i didn't get reminded due to a first hand experience. someone was telling me about just such a situation (but replace guy with doll or whatever) and i just didn't get it at first. i was like: since when is talking flirting? but then it hit me: talking is the BEST kind of flirting. well, that and flirting via blogs. but i haven't done that part yet. i'm not sure why talking gives such good flirt, but i think it does.

while i could probably be put down for most answers (eg "i love you mostest wellingtonian of the year" or "what wellington needs most") but i'm specifically thinking of how at least one of you voted for me as best dub dub dubber. i am bound to win, because i find suites of self portraits are the road to success and recognition. plus i'm hilarious.
