this may just be the best card i have ever received. it is an 'adults only' colouring in card and comes with its own little box of crayons. AWESOME.

it was a gift from hrc. great timing too. on the day i received it i was feeling a bit down. work sucked and i was going to die alone. or something. nothing lifts the spirits like a colouring in the outline of people kissing.

further, the card came inside a brown paper parcel that also had a box of chocolate biscuits and a DR WHO FLANNEL. hrc has read my mind. i saw my first episode of dr who the other day. well the first in about twenty years. and it wasn't as awful as i remember. so i'm basically a fan now.

the biscuits were jaffa cakes. if there was one thing i loved about the uk it was jaffa cakes. the entire packet is now gone. mostly due to my cubicle buddy at work who ate like half.

the other half was, of course, eaten by me. i feel a bit ill thinking about it.
