2007 is so last year. i'm over it. it wasn't too bad for me but it was bad for lots of people who i adore so in an act of solidarity i'm giving the big finger to 2007 and welcoming 2008 with open arms.

to bring in the new year i was with a gang of people who took me in at hokio beach. this is the last photo i took of 2007, which illustrates in general terms the awesomeness that was the nye beach bach bash.


so far this year has been excellent. i have gourmet dined thanks to the ex internet dater and boyf in what can now only be our regular new year's day celebration. as in this is the second year in a row. in the words of topol in fiddler on the roof.... TRADITIIIIIOOOOON... tradition.

i have also started to put my sole new years reso into place: a more organised life. today i got a present at lunch - a fancy pants te papa art diary. and guess what - i'm using it. also i've made lists for everything: what i need to buy in the next month, grocery lists, lists of what i'm going to do tomorrow, lists of what order to tidy things in my house. you name it... i've listed it.

i've also got sunburn from long walks on the beach. and a new blog template. seriously... 2007 had nothing on this.
