inspired by a coworker, these are the days of my life...

i was going to blog about this awesome email that passed through my work’s mailmarshall system:

woozy-oozy????

however, it has been usurped by the tale of how i’m so irresistibly hot right now. maybe. anyway. i went to the library after work, to read the amartya sen book i borrowed from work. i’m sitting, minding my own when i look up. and some dude is waving at me. i think ‘i don’t know you’, and hide my slight scorn with a smile of sorts.

back to my reading. thinking critically about the value of the market in human development and freedom. yawning away. thinking, ‘if he’s still there in ten minutes, i’m out of here’.

next thing i know, he’s standing over me. hand extended. ASKING ME OUT. well, he asked me out at the end of the conversation. he worked up to it by asking a series of uncomfortable questions about how i like to spend my spare time and where i live and what i’ll be doing this weekend.

he was not my kind of people. i tried not to be rude about it. but frankly, what did he think would happen from a conversation where i was clearly threatened and he was clearly looking at my boobies.

i do appreciate a man being forward though. it’s very happiness seizing. but seriously, right question, wrong man.

hehe I like a well read person, but libraries attract funny people.

stil imagine if you were sitting in a cafe and someone came up to you and said they knew you.
