when someone tells you that you are looking festive does that mean that you look like the christmas spirit personified, or does it mean you look plain silly?

many people told me i looked festive today.

i am wearing a green and orange print.

then again, today was the last working day before christmas. whatever they meant, i think it was ok for me to look festive.

i started work at eight am. ate my breakfast, checked my emails, sprayed and wiped my desk and keyboard. checked my emails again.

then it was time for our christmas morning tea, which led to a pre-christmas eve lunch. instead of the usual cheese, crackers or grapes i decided to make smoothies. they were banana, mango, strawberry and passionfruit and cognac. a genius stroke if i do say so myself. but many of my coworkers are boringo's and don't really appreciate such things. they stuck to their larger beers and cheap champagne. they do not really understand the christmas spirit i feel.
