anyway, i ordered new togs on the internet and they arrived today. i christened them at oriental bay. i looked dapper. i saw fish in the water. i bravely continued with my swim even though hello there is nothing grosser than thinking about how things live in the water i am swimming in. it brought to mind stories of that fallen hero, steve irwin. i'm constantly on the lookout for stingrays.

clearly i survived the swim. the best thing about this summer is that i haven't seen any obvious jellyfish. unlike the past two summers when they have terrorised me and compromised my ability to enjoy nature.
