like this photo, my life is incredibly dull. i was in hamiltron today. which is apparently what this photo is of. hamiltron wants to be las vegas. talk about delluded. but like in vegas i got to wear my jandals out to dinner. so its not like there are NO similarities.

anyway the reason i realised my life is dull is that i went to this dinner tonight (back in wellington) where everyone was meant to introduce themselves. it was a work related dinner, not like a table for eight dating function or whatever. anyway, everyone was basically a toastmaster. and when it was finally my turn i said "look, i'm tired. and introverted. so i'm not going to tell you much". and i was true to my word. i can only hope that they now think i'm enigmatic. which is, i suppose, at least a possibility.

but the whole introducing yourself to people thing. talk about tedious. i'm not really IN to anything except brandon flowers and going on holidays. and unlike seemingly everyone i met tonight i have never been adopted. which is how i get stuck talking about how LA law and the hopes of wearing beautiful suits inspired me to study law.

if i were to write a to do list for the week number one: find a hobby to make small talk more bearable. either that or just practice some jokes. and with that in mind... time to watch me some episodes of cosby season one before falling into a hopefully deep and fulfilling sleep. because as i told my new friends over dinner.... i'm very very tired.
