inspired by a coworker, these are the days of my life...

at the risk of being a predictable bore, the simpsons movie was lame. the audience when i saw it were all high. and wearing victoria university sports jackets. they found it hilarious. i spent most of my time thinking the episode where homer tries to stop working due to being disablingly obese would have been better on the big screen than what we were shown.

naturally i googled jump the shark and simpsons movie. because i thought that was the thing about the simpsons - it never jumps the shark. but there are like a million reviews to the contrary, most saying similarly inane things. along the lines that the simpsons hasn't just jumped the shark it has left the aquarium. which is a particularly dumb analogy if you ask me because hello you imagine sharks living in the sea not aquariums plus hello if you are making reference to the happy days episode that was not in an aquarium but the sea. or a lake at least. i can't be sure that i've actually seen the episode, but i know it was not in an aquarium.

anyway, homer was unbearable and unlikeable. and bart was annoying. and lisa was her usual awful self. and marge was self righteous and maggie wasn't even vaguely interesting. i should be a full time reviewer. i have a way with words.

more excitingly i went to pod for dinner tonight. and ate peanut butter icecream pie. it is probably my most favourite-ist desert in wellington and i don't even like icecream very much. it is like a cold peanut toffee pop but even better than that. and is only about infinity times better than actual peanut butter. but then i'm not an utter peanut butter nutter.

which reminds me i need to buy some breakfast food. a girl cannot sustain berry yoghurt trio from wishbone breakfasts daily fix. number one they cost more than an entire box of muesli and number two there is enough sugar in there for like ten bottles of lemonade or something. but they are freakin' delicious. that is just crying out to be put on this weeks to do list: invent my own low cal, low cost berry yoghurt trio. sounds like hardwork but hopefully tastes like delicious.

back to my original topic. simpsons movie. lame. but you know you'll see it anyway, just like i did.

I can't tell you what the sugar content is, but the bircher museli at Wishbone doesn't taste as sweet, and it's bloody tasty and keeps me full til late lunchtime.

On the other hand, as far as I'm concerned, if you wanna eat custard for breakfast, GO AHEAD!
