inspired by a coworker, these are the days of my life...

you know life is good because whittakers now makes dark chocolate peanut slabs.

on the down side i can only find them in their giant slab size, but on the up side they are as delicious as you'd expect. bitter. sweet. peanutty. i can't even articulate why i think it is so great. so just imagine something that tastes like heaven and you're pretty freakin' close.

i am pretty tired, weary maybe, too tired even to google if dark chocolate has healing properties or increases your intelligence or whatever. so i'm going to make it up. dark chocolate is good for you. which is awesome. because i need me some healing. you know when you feel exhausted from work and you would complain in minute detail and then you remember most of it is petty actually and you should get over it or leave, so you get over it. but at the end of the day you're still weary? anyway, i know about that feeling cos it is my reality. i read other people's blogs and they are like students or whathaveyou and i'm like: that was the life. although i was too borderline clinically depressed at the time to actually enjoy any of it. too busy feeling sorry for myself and barely passing civil procedure exams. too busy babysitting my heart out and force feeding kids two minute noodles to shut them up for five minutes while i drank their parent's laffare coffee. too busy trying to find cure albums cheap and sitting at home alone listening to them. anyway in short i'm jealous. if i was a student - even though i'd hate the study - i would have interesting days and partying nights and wouldn't feel so world weary at the end of the day. and this is how i feel after half a giant peanut slab. imagine how i would feel without my bittersweet medicine?

I'll have you know that the dark chocolate is also vegan. Not that it matters none. I've always liked a bit of braised lamb shank in my Whitakers....
