yesterday was cold like winter. which froze my brain cells and saw me spending the last part of the evening watching sisterhood of the travelling pant and high school musical.

sisterhood was average. i mean, i love rory, but her character was nauseating. and so were most of the others. a sick dying girl was a nice twist but other than that. i don't recommend it.

high school musical is another story. it was wonderful. i so regret going to an all girls high school. because it meant no hot boys like zac efron. reeeeeow. apart from that it was basically like my life. firstly because the female lead and i have basically the same name. secondly, we both can sing wonderfully, if somewhat nasally. thirdly, i know someone in real life who went to high school in new mexico and found love. so it is kind of like it was me. then there are other small coincidences such as people constantly stopping me from being different by singing "stick to the status quo" during lunch and there are always bitches in my life trying to stop me auditioning for plays and such.

i can't believe i let my prejudices stop me enjoying the very regular music videos from high school musical (or as i will now call it hsm) on c4. i can't wait for the next top 40 guilty pleasures countdown. i know what i am voting for. soarin', flyin'.....
