1.

i am thinking: this shade of green is so two years ago. it is time for me to get a new attitude. this weekend i will investigate further and perhaps launch a made over blog. i nearly did it moments ago then talked myself out of it. along the lines of "function over form" - as in it is more important that i write proper and vaguely interestingly than i have a hip looking blog. then i remembered - i'm all about appearances.

2.

today i went through town on the bus and my breathing became short at the sight of all of the sales. unfortunately i'm destitute as a result of holidaying. icecreams and pool admission can be expensive. especially when the pool you go to is freakin' awesome.

i will probably buy some sale priced fashions on my credit card and eat baked beans for two months.

3.

although i should probably live off baked beans after being smothered in culinary kindness over the holiday period. noone was kinder than the ex internet dater and her non-internet boyfriend. they made me amazingness. for example, broadbean dip with grilled halloumi.

and raw salmon presented oh so nicely.

there were other things too but i was too busy eating to take photographs. believe me they were spectacular.

also they made me chocolates for christmas. i ate them for breakfast on boxing day. second best breakfast of the holiday period. first place going, of course, to the poached eggs and fish cakes they made me on the day after new years day.

4.

i am back at work. what a nerd.

man, i love baked beans. as it turned out, last night i got some more hospitality and instead of baked beans i drank gin and ate whitebait. your hospitality is king though.
