i opened my first christmas present (awesome). a tee shirt that makes fun of internet dating. thanks for mocking me.
but whatever, i can wear it around the house since i'm all alone and all and cry myself to sleep. and be safe in the knowledge that the tee brings out the blue in my eyes (which highlights that i lie in my profile online, where i say my eyes are green, oh well).
also gmail with its little green "online" boxes are annoying. now the boy i'm sort of sort of sort of avoiding* knows i'm on line. DOH. oh well, at least i have a tee to keep me warm at night.

*ex-internet dater. i think you need to intervene and give me some hometruths or whatever. this is borderline unhealthy.

There is a way of disabling that if you disable the chat feature.
block him. he won't be able to see you're online then and he won't know he's blocked either because gmail will lie to him and tell him you're offline.
