the apple pie was my creation. the first i time ever made a sweet pie. and i rocked it. the down side was that by the time it was "apple pie time" everyone was too full to enjoy the deliciousness. plus i was upstaged by the chocolate dessert, obviously. i mean, who would pick apples over chocolate? really?
apart from the turkey, which was superb, the highlight was the arts and crafts. we made hats. we made turkey hand drawings and some guy had this whiz bang cellphone that you could draw on. i drew on it. more parties should have craft stations.
on the down side i didn't go into work this weekend to be a nerd because i just got too busy. this is the first time in weeks. instinctively i know it is a good thing. but it is hard to train the nerd out of me and it may take me a while to get to sleep due to thinking about work.
damn. i knew i should have brought some turkey home with me. it makes me sleepy about thirty seconds after eating it. it is the miracle drug. tasty too.

ha ha, love the hat! just the other day i was wondering if that is still acceptable in schools. when i was a kindergartener we all dressed up like pilgrims and indians. "indians." probably not a practice that goes on now, i'd guess.
