i got to see this kind of thing while eating my french inspired dinner (which included chocolate torte with blackforest sauce which actually, now i think about it, sounds more bavarian).
i also got to dress up like a french sailor girl. costumes always make weekends away more fun.

and i got my rock on. i had a hot rock massage. the pacific type, which is apparently the superior type. but then, that claim came from my massage therapist who has a vested interest in making me believe that.
also i watched half of series one of quantum leap. guess what? being older than ten does not help explain the shows premise. i didn’t understand it the first time around. and i have to say i still don’t totally understand it. at least i know now why he never went back to the 1800s or whatever (because according to the quantum leap theory you can only leap within your own lifetime). anyway – scott bakula: REOW.
i thought about work not at all (lies i thought about it a bit but not too much) and bought lots of different cheeses. i will get such a headache if i eat them all. but i will probably attempt it even though i know the consequences. because the short term return (delicousness) is just so worth it.
