things are looking up. i kept myself occupied today. and it has paid off. i'm feeling much healthier, mentally speaking. even though the day is overcast and, let's face it, depressing looking:

i got up early and studied. in bed. i felt like carrie from sex in the city. in bed with my laptop. i wrote a good three hundred words. words of GOLD.

i had brunch. tried on clothes at the warehouse (my favourite activity) and bought socks from the menswear department. they are brightly coloured. who knew men had brightly coloured socks? they are a bit big but it just adds to the wintry comfort of them.

i played with ryles and found a ring at my parent's house. it is yellow with flowers. i have decided it is mine. it fits like perfection. i hung out with strongerlight who made me tea and scones. i was jealous because she was still in her pyjamas. then i remembered that that is what i have done for the past three days AND IT DROVE ME NUTS. one day is luxurious. three days is suffocating.

then i walked along oriental bay and said mean things about the couples i saw walking by. it is so much fun. they don't care because they all look so happy. and if i'm being honest i don't mean it. it just gives me something to do when i don't have anyone to hold my hand and talk about taking out the garbage or whatever couples talk about. oh my god i have turned into carrie from sex and the city. obsessing about couples and relationships. VOMIT.

anyway, i have to go now and prepare for the eating of the cookies i made yesterday with hels. i will take photos.
