inspired by a coworker, these are the days of my life...

i had a love hate relationship with two guys a girl and a pizza place when i was at university. in my 4th year i spent a chunk of time housesitting with my friend j-ho. and every night he would retire to his room and study or whatever and i would sit in the kitchen and highlight random words in the readings. it was exam time as i recall. anyway, at ten thirty we would get into our pyjamas and watch two guys a girl and a pizza place. eating toast and complaining about how we would rather be watching seinfeild. so i loved that the show was this thing that me and j-ho did together (i bet he doesn’t remember though) and it meant the end of study for the night but i hated it because it was a terrible show.

but tonight i forgave it its faults. because the hot guy from it starred in the best movie since brokeback mountain: just friends. a dude gets stuck in the friend zone with the woman of his dreams. she loves him like a brother. he is all despair. long story short he goes away. comes back and slips right back into the friend zone. and they both ask friends “why doesn’t he (or she) make a move”. and bore their friends senseless. i won’t give away the ending. but the entire premise probably does that anyway. i also have to tell you there are life lessons for us all in that movie. it was like self help.

okay, so i lie. it wasn't the best movie since brokeback mountain. but it was better than i expected. in fact before i went to it i had sworn my friend to secrecy over how i was going to it. i was ashamed. to the max. but now i say it loud and proud: just friends was a good watch.

I saw there were no comments so I felt compelled to make one, cause I know how upset you get but I don't really have anything to say.

Totally had no desire to see that movie but just might since you wrote up such a good review of it. The movie psychic says: Tomorrow night=Blockbuster gets $3.95 more of my paycheck.
