inspired by a coworker, these are the days of my life...

it is too late to be eating dinner. but that's what i'm doing. it is a cheese toasted sandwich. it is divine.

you know what else is divine... me. check me out. this is how i look when i baby sit.

two of my friends celebrated their third wedding anniversary today. i looked after their babies while they went to my favourite restaurant: bastille.

another divine person is AL. AL is leaving. AL is going somewhere. somewhere yet to be decided. but tomorrow is her last day at work.

AL is full of mystery. why does she spend time with me. she is much cooler than moi (she's basically fluent in french too, that is what the moi is for. not just because i'm pretentious).

AL is awesome at instant messaging. this is because she is (a) a super fast typer and (b) freakin' hilarious. examples of our conversations would be so funny you would probably explode. so i wont share them with you. also i don't have any examples. because obviously what goes on in instant messaging stays in instant messaging. obviously.

AL makes me go to restaurants and flirt with waiters. but of course she is better at it.

i am very sad about AL going. this afternoon i gave her an autographed picture of myself. here we are together. one word: DIVINE.

[note: photo deleted. at AL's request. frankly i think it was cute. but i respect privacy. in that way i'm divine also]

Thank you. I am ALWAYS saying that the finest gift I could possibly offer anyone is an autographed photograph of myself. Everyone laughs and rolls their eyes. I'm glad to see someone else understands that it's ok not to be ashamed of of one's own prestige. I mean, you can't box the great esteem one derives from knowing you, so the signed photo is the next best thing!

pete: we are so on the same wavelength about the autographed photograph. knowing me is a gift. and the autographed photograph a reminder of that gift.
